Richard Legaspi
Advertising Arts lecturer at the University of the East, College of Fine Arts. He finished his degree in Fine Arts with Advertising Arts as a major at the same university. He also graduated at the prestigious PUSAN Film Festival Educational Program “ASIAN FILM ACADEMY 2007″ and attended Dean Master classes under Iranian Director Mohsen Makhmalbaf, Film Directing Instructor Pen-ek Ratanaruang, Cinematographer Instructor Toyomichi Kurita.
Richard Legaspi is the first Asian Filmmaker nominated in the Grand-OFF European Film Awards in Poland. He represented the Philippines in more than 20 International Film Fest like Dubai IFF, Naoussa and Patras Greece, Seoul and Busan Korea, Pyongyang North Korea, Bradford UK, Budapest Hungary, Vienna Austria and won the Miglior Montaggio Award for his film Ambulance at San Gio IFF in Italy.
